Who would have thought?
I am sitting here surrounded with three of my four children
listening to music and watching them all read.
Two are on their Kindles and the other is reading a magazine, but I am
sure he will pull out the Kindle soon as he hears I downloaded The Hunger
Games. LOL
I was talking with my mom today and we were discussing how
hard it is for me to concentrate on school work, or anything really that takes
a lot of concentration. I personally
think that it is a complication from my TIA stroke. I forgot my nephew’s birthday I feel like
such a heel. I try so hard to be a great
Aunt and we were just talking last Sunday about his birthday which was
Tuesday. I love you C man and I am so
sorry I missed calling you on your birthday.
On another note we found out that my dog Liberty has decided
that he will sing with us when we sing Happy Birthday to anyone. It is hysterical. He is adorable and brings me such joy.
Ok, let’s talk about Ryan.
The pill cam came back normal and we are now back to square one. I took him to the pediatrician on Saturday
and PA Jackie (love her) looked at the strange thing on his toe, it turned out
to be a wart, and the rash. The rash is
connected to his allergies. The pollen
flares his noses, eyes, which flares his eczema and psoriasis and that in turns
caused the rash. HUH who knew? PA Jackie did, that’s who LOL :)
She also thinks that his tummy issuesmay end up being diagnosed with a
form of arthritis. WHAT!!! But after talking with her, arthritis flares
the joints and areas around and if you think about it; it may have inflamed his
GI tract. Hmmm makes sense. I am curious to find out more, at least we
have another direction to move forward towards.
Yesterday the little ones had a soccer game and J got
hurt. He got kicked in the top part of
his foot, and ouch the parents on the other side of the field heard it. He got up and we watched N play the other
half of the game. After talking with PA
Jackie again, (HEHE I told you that I loved her, she is a great pediatrician),
we are icing and elevating. His pain is
tolerable. Although he does love the
drama, so it is hard to gauge his pain when he is moaning every few seconds.
Well, I have put off homework long enough, I have to run,
but I will be back soon.
Butterfly hugs and lilac dreams to all.

Exhaustion...
Do you ever feel like there are days you just can’t get
enough sleep? I mean I could lay down
now and sleep until the next day and still wake up tired. I am absolutely shocked that in the year 2012
there is no way to figure out what is wrong with those of us who have chronic
illness like chronic fatigue syndrome. I
am so tired that it is not natural. I
feel like I am walking through the day in a sluggish surrounding of jello. It is a struggle to pick up my legs and even
arms to move forward.
HOWEVER, I am not going to let that get me down and make
sure that it will not change who I am.
Yes, I can be cranky, but when I am a little off, I am struggling with
issues that a normal person cannot even imagine. Putting on a brave face every day takes so
much more than anyone can even imagine and I am doing the best that I can.
I wonder how many of us feel like this 4 out of 7 days in a
week, or even more days a week. I have
to consider that too many of us have to fight with one form of this on a daily
basis. Although I teach in the pool and
it looks like I have a lot of energy, some days I just want to curl up and
sleep. But, that will not solve
anything, mainly because I know I will be just a sleepy when I wake up. LOL.
That does not mean for my mom and sister NOT to stop on Friday I still want to
see you and the kids and actually get to spend more than an hour with you, and
show you the new house.
Ok enough of the medical side of things, things on the house
are moving forward, the new HVAC system was put in yesterday along with the
replacement stove. I received the final
pieces of paperwork that I have been asked for, thank goodness and I am emailing
it forward this morning. Hopefully we
will find out today what time and day we are closing. I have been told we are shooting for Monday,
and as far as I know everything has been done.
ACK do you realize I only have 1 box packed, oh well time will move
forward and we will get moved in time.
I was looking at my calendar and trying to figure out when
my life will start to mellow out a little and it will not mellow until mid-June
and now that I type this, ha-ha it won’t happen then either. Summer classes at the college start after
Robbie’s graduation. But that is ok
especially since no full time jobs are jumping out for me just yet. Maybe this is God’s way of saying I don’t
need a full time just yet.
But I now have a deadline on the house, I have to have
everything done by the first of June and make sure that the house id painted,
unpacked, yard is cleaned up, front landscaped, and oh my stars I am going to
have to recruit some friends to help me…
Ok, I have to run this morning, teaching, kids have doctor
appointments, I have to work on homework, and soccer tonight.
Butterfly hugs and lilac dreams to all.

Friday night and hubby and I are sitting in our room doing homework.
Yes, we are the great romantics; we are sitting here with
the Food Network on for noise and working on homework. I had to take a break as I feel my head may
explode from all the knowledge trying to cram into my mind. LOL.
The sad thing about it is that I know already I am going to be spending
most of my Saturday on homework since I am running behind as usual. Oh well it will all pay off in the end.
I just checked my email and found out that one of the jobs I
applied for has been filled. Ok, guess I
was not meant to be working full time right now. Along with everything else going on, I am
just going to sit back and ride the waves that life throws our way. I don’t have a choice really, but that is the
way that the cookie crumbles. LOL.
I am going to try and take a little time tomorrow and run to
town and look for more music for my water classes at yard sales and thrift
stores. I found out it is cheaper and
easier that way. I mean I already knew
it, but just had to be reminded.
This week has been and interesting week pain wise to say the
least, I have not had any major flares and now I am thinking that the tomatoes
that I took off a sandwich last week, apparently I can’t even have juice from
the tomato on anything I eat. Even
ketchup is causing problems for me now. Wow,
I love those and now I can’t have any more at all. BUMMER... but no tomato
means no pain. Easy choice for me.
So Ryan is having his Pill Cam test on Monday, and we are
hoping that this will show the doctors something because his pain is not
getting any better, and now the doctor wants to MRI his hip, since he is having
pain there now to. I took Thursday off
to spend with the kids and we ran some errands on the way to go to Fort
Washington, only we never actually made it there. Robbie came out of the shoe store (he is now
in a size 13) and said he was seeing spots.
WHAT!!!, It is April after all, the way this year has been going it
seems to be one of us a month. It was a
smell induced migraine (his deodorant), we came home, and he took a shower
rested and seems fine since.
I get to be a Bed and Breakfast twice in the coming
week. I get to see my mom, sister and
nieces and nephew for all of about hmmm… 2-4 waking hours total. LOL.
They are stopping over on the way to New York and on the way home. Maybe I will get to show them the new house
before they leave.
It is now officially my turning orange, pumpkin vine coming
out of my head time so I am going to try and go to sleep so I can get up early
and work on homework again in the morning.
Butterfly hugs and lilac dreams to all.

Wednesday is right around the corner and I can’t believe spring break is almost over…
My kiddos are on spring break this week and it already seems
to be going way to fast. With Ryan not
feeling well and Robbie working extra this week we are staying close to home
and relaxing with a staycation. Besides
we are hoping to close on the new house in a few weeks, and we are saving our
pennies at the moment.
I am working hard to get back into a schedule of working,
doing school work, house work, and making the household flow like it used to. It seems that since Christmas we have not
been able to get back in our swing f things.
I have been working on my To Do lists and almost finished my Household
Management Notebooks. I have decided that I have so many projects that I am
working on finishing I need to pick one to finish and go from there.
So the first thing I am going to complete is my Arthritis
Certification. I have 85% done so I am
going to work on that as soon as I post this blog. I am then going to work on
my homework since that is a priority. I
also need to research some new recipes for chicken, since there are two people
in the house that can pretty much only eat chicken. I am getting a little sick of chicken,
especially since we cannot use any tomato based products at all.
I am working on getting the new site up and running but
again it is one more project that I have working that I have not had the time
to complete so I am still working on it.
However we have already had over 14,000 hits on the site. Thank you I love and appreciate all of
you.
Ok, I am going to get started on one of these projects so I
can get a little ahead so we can move in a few weeks. Gonna let you go for now, but keep your eyes
out for new things to come.
Also, if you are in the Southern Maryland area and want to
